On October 3, 2009, Walter Shannon Stevenson was reported missing from the 3700 block of Epworth in northeast Memphis by a family member after he failed to return home or make contact by phone.

“Shannon” Stevenson, as he is commonly known, was last seen on October 1, 2009 at an acquaintance’s home in the 2700 block of Misty Valley, in the Highway 64 and Houston Levee area.

Memphis Police Department Missing Persons Bureau investigators are seeking information from citizens with knowledge of the disappearance of Kenneth Dewayne Williams, 20, who resides in the Jackson and National area in northeast Memphis. Williams has been missing since October 26, 2008. Williams was reported missing by his mother and was last seen at a motel in the 3700 block of Jackson. He does not own a vehicle and has not made contact with his family since he went missing. Williams is 5’7” tall, weighs 145 lbs. He was last seen wearing a white t-shirt and black Jordan shoes. Investigators fear Williams may have become the victim of a serious crime and desperately need witnesses to come forward and bring closure to this mystery. Anyone having any information on Kenneth Dewayne Williams’ disappearance is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 528-CASH (2274). You will be given a secret ID number.
